Apple iPhone 15 Series Unveiling at “Wonderlust” Event on September 13, 1A.M(Malaysia Time Zone)

Apple has revealed its intentions to host a special event on September 13th at 1:00 a.m. Malaysia time. The event will be held at the Steve Jobs Theatre located on the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California, similar to the previous year. Although the event is anticipated to be prerecorded, Apple is extending invitations to media members for an in-person viewing of the presentation on campus. This will likely grant them the opportunity to interact with new devices after they are unveiled.

Traditionally focused on iPhones, Apple’s September event this year is no exception. The upcoming event is anticipated to showcase several new iPhone models, including the 6.1-inch iPhone 15, 6.7-inch iPhone 15 Plus, 6.1-inch iPhone 15 Pro, and 6.7-inch iPhone 15 Pro Max. These models are projected to feature the Dynamic Island, an upgraded 5G chip from Qualcomm, and, notably, a transition from the Lightning port to a USB-C port.

Distinguishing the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max are additional feature enhancements not available on the standard iPhone 15 models. A subtle design update is expected, characterized by narrower bezels and subtle adjustments to the curvature of the corners. Furthermore, the Pro models are set to incorporate a titanium frame, differing from the stainless steel frame of their predecessors.

The most noteworthy inclusion in the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max could be Apple’s inaugural 3-nanometer chip, the A17. Speculation suggests that this new chip might introduce an action button in place of the traditional mute switch. This button could potentially be customizable, similar to the action button on the Apple Watch Ultra.

Although both Pro models will receive camera improvements, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is anticipated to integrate a periscope zoom lens, allowing for optical zoom capabilities of 5x or 6x, surpassing the previous 3x limit. However, due to the hardware space required for this feature, it might be exclusive to the largest Pro Max device.

Considering the extensive upgrades in the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models, as well as the advanced 3-nanometer chip, it’s conceivable that the base prices for these devices may increase. Preliminary estimates suggest the iPhone 15 Pro could start at USD $1,099, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max might start at USD $1,199.
