BPR or Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat is a government portal to aid citizens in the B40 and M40 group in order to reduce financial burden from the Covid-19 pandemic. However, it seems that a fake BPR website has surfaced to collect unsolicited information. To avoid information being stolen or used, make sure that the website is https://bpr.hasil.gov.my. The Ministry of Finance has since posted a banner on their website in order to increase awareness of this BPR scam to the public.
