The infamously long awaited BTS Meal is set to release on the 26th of May 2021. The meal itself comprises of 10 pieces of Chicken McNuggets, french fries, Coke with two special sauces (Sweet Chili Sauce and Cajun Sauce). Malaysians can get their hands on this meal by getting Take Away, Drive through or ordering online.
Malaysia is one of the first asian countries to be able to get their hands on this special meal, followed by Singapore, South Korea and Vietnam the day after.
However, McDonalds may not have expected such high traffic to their McDelivery App or their website. Within the hour, both the app and website were down. The high amount of traffic had overloaded the website, thus making users unable to purchase their meals. Those trying to purchase online were being put into a virtual waiting room.
Operation hours for Drive-through or Takeaway is from 8am to 8pm & McDelivery from 8am to 7.30pm only.
