Kimetsu no Yaiba or Demon Slayer is a blockbuster series adapted from the Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. Season 1 began in 2019 with 26 episodes, capturing the hearts of many fans worldwide. The increasing popularity of the show paved the way for the release of their movie, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train in 2020. The feature film managed to break the box office record previously held by spirited away by garnering over 10 billion yen within 10 days of opening.
