Jujutsu Kaisen is a popular weekly manga by the author Gege Akutami. Recently, Shounen Jump has released a statement which relays information that “Jujutsu Kaisen will be taking an indefinite hiatus after this Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #28 due to Gege’s health condition, According to the mangaka’s note, it should take around a month but nothing is specified.”
The author regretfully decided to accept a proposal from the editorial team in order to take a longer break so that the serialisation of the manga will not be delayed over and over again. Furthermore, Gege Akutami assures that it is not a mental health issue or any serious illness.
