Menurut laporan media besar-besaran, dari 10 Disember hingga 16 Disember, kes COVID-19 di Malaysia sekali lagi meningkat mencapai 20,000! Dan itu hanya dalam masa seminggu sahaja, melepasi 20,000 kes! Terdapat 20,696 kes, peningkatan sebanyak 7,939 kes berbanding dengan 12,757 kes dalam tempoh satu minggu sebelumnya!

Berdasarkan data Kementerian Kesihatan, dalam tempoh 10 Disember hingga 16 Disember, terdapat penambahan 28 kes kematian; peningkatan dalam kematian seminggu ini melebihi dua kali ganda berbanding dengan 11 kes dalam minggu sebelumnya!

Kedah – 3 kes
Pahang – 3 kes

Jumlah kematian di seluruh negara kini adalah 37,246, dengan 7,925 kes dalam kategori “kematian di hospital”. Kes positif semakin meningkat, pastikan untuk sentiasa bersedia dengan langkah-langkah pencegahan ketika keluar dan memakai pelitup muka.
