Vaccination via MySejahtera to Be Available Through Private Hospitals

In order to support the government’s decision to gain herd immunity through covid vaccinations, private hospitals will soon be able to aid in the vaccination of the public who are keen. At this stage, 500 private hospitals will take part in vaccinating the public from June 15, followed by 1,000 private clinics that will be enlisted before the end of June. The government will also increase the number of vaccination centres in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur.

 

Some unverified sources also report that Penang will begin their vaccination drive on the 7th of June 2021. 

 

Participating Hospitals will be:

• Pantai Hospital
• KPJ Perda
• Adventist Hospital
• Lam Wah Ee

 

Followed by these hospitals on the 15th June 2021:

• Gleneagles
• Loh Guan Lye

 

Do note that vaccinations in private hospitals will not be free of charge. It is also applicable only by appointment basis through MySejahtera. Therefore, remember to register and update your MySejahtera App before making your appointments.
