With immediate effect, all official government documents and correspondence that requires the use or signature of the Prime Minister must use the official name Mahiaddin Bin Md Yassin or Tan Sri Dato’ Haji Mahiaddin Bin Haji Md Yasin.
The communication memo dated 3 June 2021 was signed by the Prime Minister’s Private Secretary General, Datuk Dr Marzuki Mohamad and addressed to all officers and staff of the Prime Minister’s Office as all Prime Ministers will have to use their name as per stated in their Identification card (IC).
