In order to speed up the process of inoculation, the Government of Selangor has launched a program called “Selgate Covid-19 Vaccination Program”. Through this program, employers are able to vaccinate their employees through purchasing the Sinovac vaccine. There is also a plan for this program to be opened to individuals and families soon.
Guide to Purchasing the Sinovac Vaccination
Step 1: Register
Fill in your company details, company category and details of the person in charge accordingly on the website, agree to privacy statement and press submit.
After submitting, you will receive a confirmation ID in your email.
Step 2: Confirm your booking
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking with the SELCARE Clinic. Currently the price of SinoVac is at RM380 per person for both doses. A quotation and an invoice will be sent once the vaccination stock has arrived.
Step 4: Scheduling
After the deposit has been processed, the date and venue of the vaccination will be scheduled. The venue can be taken place at either the company or a panel clinic. The option to conduct vaccination at the company is for those who have above 1,500 staff.
Step 4: Complete payment
Full payment of the vaccinations must be made 14 days before the actual date of the vaccination. Employees taking the vaccination will also have to create a Selangkah account and input their details before vaccination.
Step 5: Vaccinate
The employees will either go to the designated venue to take their first and second dose. Monitoring of symptoms may also be done through the Selangkah application or website.
