The Pixel 9 is equipped with a 6.3โณ Actua OLED display, featuring a 2424ร1080 pixels resolution and a variable refresh rate of 60 to 120Hz. The display boasts impressive brightness levels, reaching up to 1,800 nits for HDR and peaking at 2,700 nits. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, ensuring durability.
Powered by the Google Tensor G4 chip, the Pixel 9 comes with 12GB of RAM, slightly less than the 16GB found in the Pixel 9 Pro. It offers two storage options: 128GB and 256GB.
In terms of photography, the Pixel 9 is equipped with a dual-camera system, featuring a 50MP wide camera and a 48MP ultra-wide camera, but it lacks the telephoto lens found in the Pro model. The front camera is a 10.5MP unit with a wide field of view and various AI-powered features such as Magic Editor and Super Res Zoom up to 8x. However, some advanced features from the Pro series, like Pro controls and High-Res video, are absent in this model.
The Pixel 9 is also IP68-rated for dust and water resistance and includes stereo speakers. Connectivity options are robust, with support for sub-6GHz 5G, dual SIM, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC. It runs on a 4,700mAh battery, offering over 24 hours of battery life, and supports fast wired charging up to 27W and wireless charging up to 15W. The device ships with Android 14 and will receive 7 years of updates.
