More areas to be under EMCO

With the exponentially increasing Covid-19 case numbers, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Yaakob has recently announced the areas that will be going under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO). These areas will limit the movement of people to the bare minimum in order to curb the spread of Covid-19 to other neighboring communities.

 

The areas that have since been announced by EMCO period are:

 

From July 10-23 

Perak: Bidor and Batang Padang

Terengganu: Rumah Awam Kos Rendah (RAKR) Gong Pasir, Kampung Gong Pasir and Taman MAIDAM under Sura Mukim, Dungun

Sabah: Kampung Mangkubau Laut in Pitas, Ladang Sabah Mas Division Segama in Lahad Datu, Felda Umas 1, 3 and  4, in Kalabakan and Fasa 4B in Taman Bukit Sepanggar, Kota Kinabalu.

 

From July 11-24

Kuala Lumpur:  Sri Rakyat Apartment in Bandar Bukit Jalil

Sabah: Block 11 and 12, Lorong 4 in Taman Nuri, Sandakan.

 

From July 12-25

Sabah: Kampung Suang Parai, Taman Kingfisher Sulaman and Bandaran Berjaya in Kota Kinabalu, QL Farm, Membalua in Tawau and Kampung Pikat, Bongawan, Papar.

Note: EMCO in Kampung Jawi-Jawi, Kota Belud will be extended to July 25.

 

From July 13-26

Sabah: Kampung Jempangah and Kampung Rancangan Klias in Beaufort, Kampung Tebongon in Putatan, Borneo Timber in Tongod, Jalan Pasir, Likas, Kampung Kuala, Menggatal and Kuarters Tangki Air Biru, Telipok in Kota Kinabalu.

Kelantan: Kampung Gong Jering, Mukim Bukit Jawa in Pasir Puteh

Sabah: Kepayan Prison, Kota Kinabalu and Kampung Nahaba, Kota Belud will also have further extension.
