Another victim has been claimed by the Movement Control Order (MCO). The famous Penang Air Itam Laksa has just announced that they are shutting its doors and putting their tools down on the 19th May 2021 (Tomorrow). This Laksa stall has been opened since 1955 and has since gained popularity through various media exposure. This stall has served many Penangites and tourists during its time. Though it is unsure whether the closure will be permanent or temporary, we do hope that the legacy of the Penang Air Itam Laksa will stay on for many more years.
