Sports and Recreational Activities Allowed During NRP Phase 2

A total of 6 states have been transitioned to phase 2 of the National Recovery Plan. Namely, Perlis, Perak, Penang, Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang. As these states have met the conditions to enter phase 2, the SOP’s for the lockdown has been relaxed which allows more recreational activities to be carried out by those who stay there.

Therefore, here are the sports and recreational activities allowed during NRP Phase 2. 

  • Jogging
  • Exercise
  • Tai Chi
  • Cycling 
  • Skateboarding
  • Fishing
  • Equestrian Sports 
  • Archery
  • Hiking
  • Tennis
  • Golf
  • Motoring

It is important to note that physical distancing of 2 to 3 meters is compulsory and the physical activities are done in an open space environment. Furthermore, citizens must still stay within 10km of their residence and sports activities are only allowed from 6am-8pm. Failure to abide by these conditions may result in fines by the council or police.
