Minister of Youth and Sports, Hannah Yeoh, revealed that iconic venues such as Dataran Merdeka in Jalan Raja, Kuala Lumpur, and Dataran Putrajaya in Presint 3, Putrajaya, are among the hotspots where supporters can gather to rally behind the Malaysian team. “Join us in roaring support for our team this Saturday!” Yeoh exclaimed on her official Facebook page.

Yesterday marked a historic milestone for Malaysia as they secured a spot in the semi-finals of the 2024 Thomas Cup after an eight-year hiatus. The team’s remarkable victory over Japan, former champions of the 2014 edition, unfolded with a resounding 3-1 triumph at the Chengdu Hi-Tech Zone Sports Centre Gymnasium in China.
